Luisa Masclans
Luisa is a second-year medical student at Duke University and is interested in the intersection between health systems and individual patient outcomes, particularly for underserved populations. Prior to medical school she worked with Companeros en Salud in Chiapas, Mexico with a program that helps patients from rural areas access needed secondary and tertiary care. After medical school she hopes to practice hospital medicine and study how health systems can provide appropriate, affordable and accessible care for all patients from hospital to home.
