Lucie Cluver
Lucie Cluver is Professor of Child and Family Social Work at Oxford University, and an honorary Professor at the University of Cape Town’s Department of Psychiatry and Mental Health. She works closely with WHO, UNICEF, PEPFAR-USAID and CDC, UNAIDS and Southern African governments to develop and test evidence-based approaches for children affected by AIDS and abuse in Sub-Saharan Africa. All the research is done as a team, and Lucie is very lucky to work with an incredible group of colleagues, and with post-doctoral and doctoral research students who lead the science and run the research studies in often extremely difficult and dangerous contexts.
